About the artist

 Growing up in the coastal town of Ventura, California, Ed’s love for the ocean and the outdoors began very early. 

His family loved to fish and they frequented the Channel Islands as well as streams, lakes, the ocean and rivers around the country. 

One of Ed’s families earliest and fondest childhood stomps was inland and coastal Oregon. The majestic mountains and beautiful coast lines had a big impact on Ed and as early as age 4, Ed has been drawing. Throughout his childhood school years Ed always excelled in art, and later went on to study architectural design at Cal Poly Tech University in San Luis Obispo, CA.  

After a long career as a City Planner for the City of Camarillo,  he has committed his energy and passion to his art full time. 

Ed continues to grow as a fine artist and painter. His artwork has been in several local shows and he has gathered quite a large following amongst community patrons. Being in constant discovery and always open to new avenues and inspirations, Ed values and invites commissioned art projects along side his own expressions.
